Dear Black Mom,

Can we talk hair care for a minute? What are some of the products and techniques you use to keep baby girl hair moisturized and easy to manage?

In this photo, my bonus daughter had her natural curls washed and conditioned by my stylist, who left a leave in conditioner on with cap for 6 hours while we prepped for our wedding. Her curls were definitely looking their best and they lasted, just like this, for almost 5 whole days!!! I can’t wait until salons reopen, because I haven’t been able to mimic this work on my own.
